As of mid-August 2024, the ministry has signed agreements with 1,573 partner health institutions, including 1,420 public health centers, and 153 private clinics, which together treat a total of 19,022,468 cases per year, Ministry of Labor spokesperson told Khmer Times newspaper.

The 2.45 million members of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) throughout the country will therefore be able to consult and receive care free of charge at these partner institutions.

For the coverage of prenatal and postpartum health care, this national fund also provides maternity expenses with a daily allowance of 70% of the daily contribution for 90 days as well as additional subsidies.

If a member suffers an accident or loses his life at work, NSSF will provide emergency services, treatment and care, provide subsidies and other social security benefits in accordance with the law.

At the same time, an information system is being developed to provide healthcare partners nationwide with patient information.

This system is a digital platform that allows doctors at all partner health institutions to monitor the validity of any NSSF membership when providing services. Through the system, other necessary data can also be captured to request payment for medical services.
